| Abstract: | Summary Mitotic cell cycle time was estimated from root meristems of tetraploid and related diploid stock (IP 1475) of pearl millet (Pennisetum typhoides). There is 38% increase in cell cycle time in tetraploid meristems compared of their related diploid stocks.Acknowledgment. The authors thank Dr. M.
