| Abstract: | The reproductive cycle,estimated by the percentage of penis sheath of the adult Limnodrilus hoffmeisteri,was observed for 13 months in Guangzhou,a sub-tropic region in southern China. In hot summer season the reproductive ratio was low and increased gradually thereafter.The highest peak appeared from Febraury to April,which was 2 to 3 months carlier than that in Eurou- pean regions.The time series analysis was applied to the data and a formula was established.No direct coorelation was found between the size of penis sheath and the reproductive ratio. |
