文化背景知识与英语成绩及阅读理解的相关性

摘    要:随机选取30名非英语专业一年级本科生,研究大学英语教学中,学生的文化背景知识与其英语成绩及阅读理解的相关性。研究结果表明:文化背景知识与英语成绩之间、文化背景知识与阅读理解之间存在着较高的正相关。

Abstract:This paper reports a study that the author randomly samples 30 freshmen of undergraduate of non-English majoring to analyze and research into the relationships between cultural background knowledge teaching and achievement of the students' English study as well as their reading comprehension.The result of the research indicates that the cultural background knowledge teaching is strongly and positively correlated to the students' English study achievement as well as that of their reading comprehension.
