立足实事求是着意诠释人生——写作《荣辱人生——严嵩话本》感言

从1983年开始，我开始搜集和研究有关严嵩方面的史料。2003年，终于以真实的史料、通俗的语言写成《荣辱人生——严嵩话本》一书出版。在写作过程中，我本着“立足实事求是，着意诠释人生”的原则，立足史料，又不为大量“似是而非”的史料所迷惑，希望以自己的考察和研究，再现严嵩等历史人物的真实人生。

My view about writing biography of Yan Song

From 1983, 1 began to collect and study the historic materials about Yan Song. In 2003, the biography of Yan Song was fin- ished and published in simple language according to the true historic materials. In the course of writing the book, I stuck to the matter - of- fact principle to write his real life, rejecting paradoxical historic materials, so as to show the real historic figure through my own observation and research.
