| Abstract: | In this paper,the application of the boundary element method in lubrication of thrust bearings is discussed. Boundary integral equations of Reynolds equation and boundary element programme for solving this problem are given as well, The properties of circular-pad bearings are studied at the end of this paper,and the results show that circular-pad bearings work stably under the centre pivot condition. |
