西汉前期抑商政策原因新探

从西汉前期几位主要思想家的抑商主张可以看出,当时西汉政府采取抑商政策的实质并不是要完全地抑制商业,而是对一些僭越礼制、进行政治投机或与一些不老实的诸侯勾结、或进行行贿危害官僚系统纯洁性、或与中央争夺经济优势特权的一些不仁、不义、不安分的私商大贾进行严厉的压制。可以说,西汉前期政府采取抑商政策的根本目的在于巩固中央集权的统治。
