无线网络中TCP协议的改进研究

摘    要:如果收到3个重复的确认,TCP Reno协议就认为源主机和目的主机之间的某处网络发生了拥塞,于是将速率减半。文章在无线网络环境下将拥塞判断引入到TCP Reno中,对重复确认进一步分析,如果当前网络处于非拥塞状态,则不必降低速率,从而提高了无线网络吞吐量。

Abstract:If the sender receives three duplicate acknowledgments, TCP Reno protocol judges that the congestion occurs somewhere between the source host and the destination host, and then it will halve the rate. In the wireless network environment, this study introduces congestion indicator into TCP Reno to do further analysis of repeated acknowledgments. If the network is not in congested state, the rate will not be decreased. Thereby the network throughput is improved.
