Visual FoxPro在高等教育学籍学历管理工作中的应用

目前绝大多数高校的学籍学历管理者采用Excel软件作为工具进行教育部学信网学籍学历电子注册,但电子注册时统一要求使用DBF的数据格式,为解决反复将Excel与DBF的数据格式互相转换而产生的问题,采用Visual FoxPro(简称VFP)作为工具并利用数据库技术进行电子注册,VFP可通过命令操作或界面操作方式直接对DBF格式的数据进行处理,将原始数据便捷的转化为注册数据,确保注册过程中数据格式一致,数据不易丢失,同时还具有数据输入快捷、注册步骤简洁的优点,能够在很大程度上增加工作的准确性、科学性和规范性。

Application of Visual FoxPro in the student status and academic credentials management of high education

At present, the directors of registration management in most universities are using Excel to handle the student sta- tus and academic credentials electronic registration on www. Chsi. com. cn. However, the DBF format is the uniform requirement during the process of electronic registration. In order to solve the problems encountered in the transformation, VFP （ short for Visual FoxPro）, applicable for electronic registration with the aid of database technology, can directly process the data of DBF format by command operation or interface operation, conveniently converting the original data into registration data. This method can ensure the consistent format of data during the registration process and prevent the data loss. Moreover, it is featured by efficient input and simple procedures. To a large extent, all the above-mentioned advantages can make the electronic registration more accurate, scien- tific and standard.
