论陈寅恪对史料的把握和运用

在历史研究工作中对史料格外重视。他对史料的掌握和运用达到了很高的境界。首先,他非常重视识读史料的基本能力。在此基础上,他在具体研究过程中注重充分占有材料。一方面强调第一手材料的占有,另一方面又努力开拓、发掘新的治史材料。他在处理、运用史料的时候．格外注重对所获得的史料进行多方比较,通过古籍互相比勘、地上文献与地下文献互相比较,以及中外文献互相比较来进行历史研究。

On Understanding and Utilizing of Historical Materials

Chen Yinke paid special attention to historical materials in his history research work.Firstly,he valued the basic capability of reading and identifying historical data extremely,and emphasized that studies must be literate firstly.In this foundation,he paid great attention to the material possession in the concrete research.Secondly,in processing and utilizing the historical data,he laid stresson the historical data which is obtained in various com- parison and conducted the historical research through the mutual comparison of the ancient books,between the ground literature and the underground literature,as well as the comparative studies between Chinese and foreign literature.
