| Abstract: | The safety of ship plays a important role in the shipping industry.This paper analyzed the main cost arising from sub-standard ships and the main causes of their continuous existence,and gave a brief introduction of some typical actions taken by International Maritime Organization(IMO) on the fight against sub-standard ships.It pointed out that the aim of eliminating sub-standard ships requires every party's effort in the shipping world. |
