Abstract:The existing power line fault channel research is mainly dedicated to the soft fault, hard fault and scratch fault of a single cable. The research on power line fault channel modeling under complex topology is basically blank. According to different topologies, power line types, and fault types, an effective method is needed to connect the power line transmission characteristics, topology distribution node distribution characteristics, and fault characteristics into an organic whole that is convenient for computer calculation. This paper is based on the knowledge of graph theory to realize the power line fault channel response method of any complex topology. That is, the length matrix is used to determine the main path, and then the breadth-first search algorithm is used to control the impedance update of the branch topology, and the cascade M matrix of the two-port network model is used to generate the frequency response of the power line fault channel of any complex topology. The comparison between simulation and test results proves that this method is feasible to obtain faulty channels.
