| Abstract: | The fundamental assumption for Shewhart Control Charts is that the statistics desired to control the quality depend on normal distribution.This requirement may not be fulfilled in certain cases,however.Three methods of determining the control limits under the non-normality,viz,conventional shewhart method,accurate method and split-distri- bution method,are discussed in this paper.Also some comments to the methods listed above are given by the author. |
