The Route Exploration of Local Universities Transformed into Applied Technical Institutes --Taking Xinjiang Career Technical College as an example

Taking Xinjiang Career Technical College as an example, the necessity and feasibility of local universities transformed in- to applied technical institutes are analyzed. The applied vocational institutes should run practice and application through specialty set- ting, talents training mode and teaching staff construction. Based on the thinking of the orientation of school-running, regional indus- try structure and the needs of society, the developing routes of serving society, school-enterprise cooperation, teaching staff construc- tion and talents training scheme revision are specially analyzed.
