Coupler-Curve Synthesis of Linkage Mechanisms by Spectrum Analysis

This paper suggests a synthetic method for generating coupler curves of plane linkage mechanisms based on the coupler curve spectrum analysis with optimization design. This method can reduce the numbers of variables in the process of iterative computation; and the initial value selection of variables is simple and specific. In establishing optimal models, the complex vector method is used to make the whole solution process without the deduction of the complicated equations.
