由简略人口资料推算完全生命表的邻近估计方法

本文提出一种可以更加有效地使用简略人口资料的新方法，而不仅仅是用其建立传统上的简略生命表。利用这一方法，由简略人口资料建立的完全生命表和由完全人口资料建立的完全生命表十分吻合。这一方法的核心是通过一个二次函数的倒数和（沿年龄轴）每过个点逐次拟合一系列二次函数构成一个近似于死亡力函数的分段光滑函数。这一方法比Ｗｉｔｔｅｍｏｒｅ和Ｋｅｌｌｅｒ的样条方法又有了新的发展，利用这一方法，可以解决目前在建立简

A Neigborhood Estimation for Complete Life Table Based on Abridged Data

A new method is given to use the abridged census dats more suffi-ciently,Rather than the traditional abridged life table,a complete life table esti-mated on abridged data is fairly close to the complete life table based on the complete data. It approximates the U-shaped force of mortality by an inverse quadratic function and a series of quadratic functions fitting each three-points successively along the age axis issuing a piece-wise smooth function,with which a traditional complete life table can be constructed, This method can be considered as an extension of existing spline methods, such as Wittemore and Keller(1986,Biometrics 42,495-506).The problem of overestimation and not unanimity in existing methods for construction of the abridged life table might be solved with this method. The comparisons between methods of this paper and of Chiang(1972,Journal of American Statistical Association 67,538-541)for data analysis of California,1970 and Japanese,1984 have been given as ex-amples.
