Investigation on the Health Condition and Health Care Demands of Disabled People in Jilin Province

The disabled people that registered and hold a certificate of disability in Changchun Area are randomly sampled to evaluate the health condition and requirements of them in Jilin Province. Methods ： Taking Changchun District as a case study, select registered disabled people with a certificate of disability in every city, county and town by randomly sampling and bring 5120 cases to be examined by multi-stage and stratified sampling method. Results： （1） The morbidity rate is 24.82% within two weeks, of which respiratory disease the highest, then circulatory system and digestive system, 1112 people have fallen ill, occupying 87.49%. （2）The total morbidity rate of chronic disease is 33.13%, of which circulatory system diseases the highest, then endocrine system and digestive system, 1361 people have fallen ill, occupying 80.25%. Conclusion： The morbidity rate and morbidity rate of chronic disease in two weeks are significantly higher than those of national average level of population and the requirements of health care for the disabled are higher and more urgent.
