| Abstract: | By interpreting three binary oppositions： escape and holding,hope and despair,conflict and harmony in Anne Tyler＇s Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant,this paper intends to reveal the deep meaning contained in the novel,that is,the relationship between the family and family members achieves harmony through clashes and conflicts. |
