英汉视觉域概念隐喻之比较

文章旨在比较英语和汉语视觉域中的概念隐喻。英语和汉语在视觉域的概念隐喻基本一致，即从视觉域（属身域）向思维、情感、态度（属心域）投射，其差异主要表现在子隐喻上。这反映出不同的语言系统体现了相似的认知过程，人类的隐喻性思维方式具有基于其身体经验的普遍性。

A Comparative Study of English-Chinese Vision-based Metaphors

This paper tends to make a comparative analysis on English and Chinese visual metaphoric expressions. In both languages, there are a significant proportion of intellectual, emotional and attitudinal concepts expressed in terms of vision. It may be concluded that in the two different languages exists similar cognitive process---human tendency of metaphoric thinking based on bodily experience.
