| Abstract: | On the basis of gelogical, geophysical and remote sensing studies, the expulsion process after the Neogene has verified in the NE Tarim region. Lateral expulsion resulted from the collision between the India plate and the Asian continent. The plate tectonic background of the geomorphological genesis of the NE Tarim region has been proposed. |
