轮网络的直径和平均距离研究

摘    要:轮网络是由Cayley图模型设计出来的一种新型互连网络模型.在研究互连网络性能中,直径和平均距离起了重要作用,为网络的传输延迟提供了度量参数.研究了轮网络的直径和平均距离,证明了当N=4,5,6时,d(Wn)=3(n-1)/2]-1;当n≥7时,d(Wn)=3(n-1)/2],得到轮网络的平均距离的上界:■(Wn)≤n-4-4/(n-1)+4/n+4/(n!)+∑i/1 from i=1 to n.

Abstract:The wheel network is a new interconnected network designed from the Cayley graph model.The diameter and the average distance of a graph are two important parameters for measuring the efficiency of interconnected networks.The diameter can directly reflect its transformation delay.Here,the diameter and the upper bound average distance of n-dimensional wheel network are investigated and the result is that the diameter of Wn is d(Wn)=3(n-1)/2]-1 for n=4,5,6 as well as d(Wn)=3(n-1)/2] for n≥7 and the upper bound average distance is ■(Wn)≤n-4-4/(n-1)+4/n+4/(n!)+∑i/1 from i=1 to n.
