| Abstract: | News texts,as a public discourse,play a leading role in modern society.This article is carried out within the rhetorical framework of persuasive Modes proposed by ancient rhetoricians to analyze the persuasiveness of news texts.It aims at enabling the readers to have a better understanding about news reporting,thus effectively applying information. |
