Sakharov and the Development of Soviet Hydrogen Bomb:Research on the Declassifed Archives of Soviet Union

As the leader of the Hydrogen Bomb Project in the Soviet Union,Sakharov creatively put forward a new design principle and became the key figure in the successful development of the first hydrogen bomb in the Soviet Union.Sakharov also played an important role in the development of the second-class hydrogen bomb of the Soviet Union.He and his colleagues proposed collectively the principle of radiation implosion,on the basis of which,they made continuous improvements of their proposition and finally developed more powerful second-class hydrogen bombs.
