| Abstract: | Thermal performance of a solar powered air conditioning plant is analyzed. Making use of a non dimensional parameter, this paper develops a simplified method for predicting the long term cooling potential of solar powered air conditioning plants. The simplified method is validated by comparing the predicted results with values calculated from the actual solar radiation data. |
