| Abstract: | The importance of building up the elastic-hydrodynamic lubrication in the design of cam mechanism is described in this paper.The elastic-hydrodynamic lubrication theory is briefly introduced and the condition for the oil-film formation between the contact surfaces of the cam mechanism is discussed.Some example calculations are given in the paper. |
