| Abstract: | In this paper,the mathematical model for steady heat conduction of a circular shell casing is worked out and solved to obtain the formulae for its temperature distribution and fin efficiency at the tip surface and lateral surface.The dimensionless curves are also plotted for engineering calculation. |
