| Abstract: | Rana tigrina ruglosa Wiegmann develops and grows up very rapidly. In general, the metamorphosis of the tadpole begines in 2 weeks and completes in 4 weeks after fertilization. After cultivated for a few days more than 2 months, the frog can grows up to 100g averagely and be sold in the market in the first year. More important than that, it is found out that Rana tigrina ruglosa can feed both on motional and motionless food innately. This characteristics make the fodder short probiem in frog aquaculture industry much easy to be solved. These results indicate that Rana tigrina ruglosa, a big edible frog, is an aquatic animal suitable for aquacultuer. |
