进入新世纪,高等师范体育教育要转变思想观念,促使“应试教育”向“素质教育”转变.高等师范体育教育不仅是在课内、课外给学生以教育,而且是全方位的:教育思想、内容、形式、时空、环境一体化,是融生理学、心理学和社会科学为一体的综合教育.师范体育教育应把只在一、二年级开设体育课,变为学生在校期间都开设体育课,使体育教育全程化,培养学生主动、自觉地去学、去练,以达到素质教育和树立终身体育教育思想的最终目的.
