The Possibility of Digital Games as a Form of Pedagogy

As one kind of life styles,digital games have melted in daily life of digital generation. In this paper,the current status of digital games in United States,especially from facets of technology,learning and instructional design is introduced. Analyzing 2010 Horizon Report： K 12 Edi tion,2011 Horizon Report,and 2010NETP; meanwhile, to explicate how learning generate in the process of digital games with a typical case in Handbook of public pedagogy of United States, ; then,to discuss methods in terms of how to change teachers＇ attitude to digital games;is to con clude the possibility of digital games as a form of pedagogy with a new perspective of rethinking digital games.
