| Abstract: | In this paper we describe a multigrid algorithm for the finite element approximation of stokes equation by the MINI-element. It has been proved that the convergence rate of the algorithm is bounded away from 1 independent of the meshsize. The introduction of the discrete product defined on the coarse fine grid is an essential tool for the convergence analysis of the multigrid algorithm. |
