艺术类本科英语课程评估与建设——以浙江科技学院为例

摘    要:由于种种原因,艺术类本科英语教学一直处在一种进退维谷的境地,严重制约了艺术类复合型、应用型人才的培养。为了最大程度地改变这一局面,将专门用途英语(ESP)这一方法引入艺术类本科英语的教学和课程设计,并就课程设计和教学应遵循的原则提出了建议;同时提出了整合艺术类本科英语教学的建议,并编制了一个语言基本技能与实际应用并重,兼顾普通英语与专门用途英语,且使二者有效衔接的课程体系。

Abstract:For many reasons,English teaching for art students has long been a dilemma,which hinders badly the cultivating of compound and applied art talents.To find a way out,the author attempts to introduce the approach of ESP(English for Specific Purposes) to English teaching and course design for art undergraduates.The paper focuses on the clarification of a course system which emphasizes both basic language competence and practicality by integrating EGP(English for General Purposes) with ESP in some aspects.
