| Abstract: | Based on the constructivism theory, the current situation of teaching intensive reading of col-lege English with the assistance of multimedia overhead projector and its advantages and disadvantages were evaluated in detail. It concluded that the use of multimedia overhead projector in classrooms of teaching intensive reading, an extension of means for traditional English teaching, would be helpful to the strengthening language atmosphere and idea of student-centeredness, the strategies for how to im-prove this teaching methodology was also given. |
