荣县新观音蒙脱石特征及其成因初讨
摘    要:荣县新观音蒙脱石粘土质优而纯,由90%以上的蒙脱石组成。通过研究和鉴定,明显地出现Ca?蒙脱石的特征。集合体形态多种多样。有害组分含量是:Fe_2O_3(1.16—1.78%),Fe_2O_3(1.16—1.78%),FeO(0.03—0.09%),TiO_2(0.15—0.26%),P_2O_5(0.03—0.04%),MnO(0.01%)。物性测试结果:胶质价49—58.6,膨胀倍7—10,吸蓝量22.5—37.5,pH值7.7—8.5。本文对成因提出了新认识。

ON THE CHARACTERISTICS AND ORIGIN OF MONTMORILLONITE FROM XINGUANYIN, RONGXIAN

Abstract:The quality of montmorillonite clay of Xinguanyin Rongxian is superior and clean. More than ninety per cent of the clay is composed of montmorillonite. We have studied these clays with optical and electronic microscope, X-ray diffrac- tion, differential thermal analysis, infrared spectrum and chemical analysis. The Ca-montmorillonite is identifield. The ag- gregate morphology of montmorillonite is various. Amount of pernicious components is as follows: Fe_2O_3(1.16- 1.78%), FeO(0.03-0.09%), TiO_2(0.15-0.26%), P_2O_5(0.03-0.04%), MnO(0.01%). The petrophysical ex- perimental results show: colloidal value 49-58.6, expansive duple 7-10, absorb blue amount 22.5-37.5 acidity 7.7-8.5. The study provides abundant data for industrial use of the clay. Furthermore the article contributes new unde- standing of origin of the montmorillonite.
