| Abstract: | Continuously variable slope delta(CVSD) modulation speech coder is a robust speech coding algorithm. When packet loss happens, the quality of speech at the receiver endpoint degrades. A packet loss concealment algorithm embedded in decoder for CVSD was proposed, which introduces adaptive linear prediction to recover CVSD decoding state and reconstructs the loss packets by using synchronized overlap and adding. The simulative results show that the speech quality is obviously improved with the proposed method. |
