大学社会资本功用论

社会资本是大学的一种重要资本形式,对其发展产生着诸多影响。从人才培养来看,它可以扩大高校生源、促进师生交流、形成学科交叉、培养创新型人才、培育校园文化等;就发展科学而言,它可以争取更多的课题和经费、形成良好的科研氛围、促进科研信息交流、形成跨地域的多学科联盟等;就服务社会而言,它有利于促进全民学习型社会形成、有利于加速科研成果的转化和推广;就外部融资来看,它可以促进创业型大学产生和社会捐赠;就内部和谐而言,它可以促使大学和谐校园构建和内部资源有效配置。与物质资本、学术资本相同,大学社会资本在运营中,也可能为大学自身和高等教育发展带来负面效应。

However, social capital may bring negative influence on the development of the universities and the higher education just as the material capital and the manpower capital may do.
