中西方翻译标准比较

中西翻译标准同中有异，尽管都经历了从传统到现代的转变，但仍然在实践和理论上存在明显差异。通过比较，可以使我们认清形势，明确方向，进一步推动翻译标准领域的研究。

Comparison between Chinese and Western Translation Criteria

This paper summarizes the representative translation criteria in the histories of the Chinese and Western translation studies, analyses the similarities and differences in terms of the cultural background and the historical development of those criteria. The author holds that diversity exists in despite of the similarities revealed in various studies. Although both having experienced the similar changes from the traditional to the modern criteria, they still differ obviously in the practice and theories of translation. The significance of the comparison is to help us understand where we are so as to promote further studies in this area.
