摘    要:计算流体动力学在产品开发过程中的概念设计评价越来越重要,而对计算流体动力力学的可视化给工程师提供一个洞察产品性能的有效途径。然而传统的可视化技术几乎都在视觉上传递信息,多元显示、全局视角、交互等都约束了对产品更深一步的观察。本文提出了一种结合听觉、视觉和触觉的涡流特征提取、基于涡流特征的可视化、涡流特征的声音表达、触觉的多通道感知技术,对三给矢量场的多维数据更深进一步探测。结合虚拟现实技术,提供用户栩栩如生、身临其境、高交互的的多通道感知矢量场的环境。本文的技术应用于某汽车空调公司的主流道设计。

Abstract:Computational fluid dynamics is becoming increasingly important for evaluation of design concepts in theproduct development process. Scientific visualization provides a very efficient way to insight into the performance ofproducts. Yet traditional visual technology only passes information in vision, limitation of multi-vision, full view and interaction prevents us from the insight into the process of product development. In this paper we present a new method for combining the vision, auralization and haptic of the vortices of a streamline in a vector field. This paper emphasizes the multimode to enhance vertical feature extraction, vortex feature visualization combined sonification and hapticvisualization. We are developing a visualization tool which incorporates virtual reality techniques of the interactiveexploration of the large scalar and vector data sets. Meanwhile we implement the technique to design and evaluate a new type air-flow pipe for a car air-conditions manufactory.
