科学技术与民主政治二重关系

科学技术对民主政治的效用问题素为学界争论，且意见不一。我们在此也试做探讨，并认为，科学技术的发展只是民主政治的有利条件而非充分条件，过度强调科学技术的决定性作用只会导致唯科学主义和人类理性的自负，其结果必将摧毁民主赖以生存的文化土壤，把民主推向不归之路。理清二者之间的复杂关系并提出相应对策，将对中国的民主建设大有裨益。

The Analysis of the Relationship between Science and Technology and the Democratic Politics

The question of the effectiveness of science and technology to democracy is the academic argument and there are always controversy and disagreement about this. In this paper, we have tried to make a discussion and concluded that the development of science and technology is only the favorable condition of democratic politics, not the sufficient condition. The excessive emphasis on the decisive role of science and technology can only lead to scientism and rational pride of human. And it will surely destroy the cultural soil on which democracy depends and push democracy to the road of no return. Making clear of the complex relation between them and putting forward proper policies will be good to democratic construction of China.
