实现不等错误保护（UEP）的最小发射功率AM MIMO系统

提出了在MIMO系统中通过自适应调制实现数据不等错误保护传输的算法——最小发射功率自适应调制MIMO算法（MTP AM-MIMO）。在窄带平衰落信道环境下，空间相关MIMO系统中各个子信道的功率增益差异较大，因此不同子信道的传输质量也有较大的差异，可以利用这个特点实现数据的不等错误保护传输。发送端根据反馈的信道状态信息以及输入数据传输质量的要求，按照总发射功率最小的原则将MIMO子信道分为两组，分别传输高质量和低质量的数据，并自适应地调整各个子信道的发射功率和调制阶数，在满足输入数据传输质量和传输速率要求的前提下，使得系统消耗的总功率达到最小。仿真结果表明该算法能够在最小发射功率的约束条件下，有效控制数据传输的误比特率，实现不等错误保护。

A Minimum Transmission Power AM-MIMO System to Realize Unequal Error Protection(UEP)

This paper proposes a minimum transmission power adaptive modulation algorithm called MTP AM-MIMO to realize Unequal Error Protection (UEP) for data transmission in Multiple Input and Multiple Output (MIMO) system. In the narrowband flat fading environment, the sub-channels’ power gains are different greatly in spatial correlation MIMO system, thus the transmission qualities of different sub-channels are also varied greatly, which can be used to realize UEP transmission. Based on the transmission quality requirements of input data and fed back channel condition information, the sender divides the sub-channels into two groups to transmit high and low quality data separately. The modulation order and transmission power of each sub-channel is adjusted by an adaptive modulation algorithm, which guarantee the transmission rate and quality requirements of input data, as well as minimize the total transmission power. The simulation results indicate that the MTP AM-MIMO algorithm presented in this paper can effectively control the bit error rate of data and realize unequal error protection transmission, as well as minimize the total transmission power.
