论《诺斯托罗莫》的叙述声音

摘    要:康拉德在经典长篇小说《诺斯托罗莫》中运用复杂多变的叙述声音,给小说带来了丰富的美学效果和文学价值.第三人称全知叙述者为主体的叙述声音构建并支撑了小说弘大的历史政治主题,灵活地调整了小说叙述者与读者之间的叙述距离,产生了反讽的艺术效果,而其它角色叙述则从多角度呈现了故事情节和人物个性,展现了康拉德对现实主义的深刻理解.

Abstract:Conrad employed complex narrative voices in his classic novel Nostrorno, which produces plentiful aesthetic effects and profound literal value. The dominant use of third person omniscient nar- rator constructs and supports the epic and political theme of the novel and flexibly adjusts the distance between the narrator and the readers, which in turn engenders ironic effect. Moreover, the application of multiple character narrators presents the story and the characters from diverse perspectives, thus enables Conrad to display his profound understanding of realism.
