| Abstract: | By means of the effective-field livery (EFT)we study the properties of the anisotropic Ising ferromagnet with an applied transverse field on a square lattice. The relation between the critical transverse field, transverse susceptibility, paramagnetic susceptibility, magnetization and the anisotropic parameter of the exchange interaction is calculated and analysed. |
