Relationship between Abrasiveness and Structure of Rotor and Ring Yarns

The friction and abrasion characters of yarn play very important roles in the downstream processing and the end - use of products. With the development of rotor yarn and its application in the knitted products, the problem of abrasion on the machine components caused by the processed rotor yarn has been paid more and more attentions. This paper deals with the factors eRect the abrasiveness of rotor yarn and the comparison of abrasive character between rotor yarn and ring yarn.
