Brief Analysis of the Teaching Mode of Inquiry Teaching

The core of inquiry teaching is to make students understand the essence of scientific concept and scientific inquiry through inquiry course like scientists in order to develop students'scientific inquiry ability. The scientific educational practice of decades in U.S.A. shows that inquiry teaching has obvious advantages, but it is really difficult to put it into practice. The article analyses the inquiry and the inquiry teaching, the basic features of inquiry teaching, the concept of teaching mode and its historical development, and also gives some suggestions on how to choose and use the teaching mode.
