王思任生平考述

王思任以聪睿灵心21岁即考中进士，为该科最年少者。但其仕途却因他的耿介性格偃蹇不顺。他先后为兴平、当涂、青浦知县，屡遭弹劾，三仕三黜，中年辞官家居，读书吟咏，纵游山水。其后虽有起复，因王思任不依附阉党，被选袁州推官也未赴任。阉党败后，王思任为九江佥事，平定骚乱，却也未免被劾的命运。甲中事后，多有人认为王思任移居山中，绝食而死。

Narration and Textual Research on all Wang Siren's Life

Wang Siren won jinshi in national imperial examination when he was 21 years old and was the youngest jinshi ofhis time. But his official career was tired out because of his straightness. He was successively appointed to the county of Xingping,Dangtu and Qingpu. But he was impeached and rejected frequently. At his middle age, Wang Siren abdicated his official position forreading and junketing. After this, Wang Siren was appointed to Yuanzhou and didn't go to his post because he didn't attach himselfto the Gibbed Party. Wang Siren pacificated a rebellion as the official in Jiujiang. But this contribution didn't avoid his beingimpeached. After the turmoil in 1644, many scholars considered that Wang Siren migrated into a hill and fasted to die.
