本文认为经济地理学是研究生产和消费的地域关系的科学,分问题的提出、理论根据、现实意义、地域类型、衡量标准等五个部分,概述了经济地理学发展的历程,探讨了当今经济地理学的发展倾向;着重探索社会主义初级阶段经济地理学所面临的理论问题,特别是一些传统观念的改变。

SOME TENTATIVE VIEWPOINTS ON THE THEORIES OF ECONOMIC GEOGRAPHY

Economic geography may be defined as an enquiry into the allocation of production and consumption. The paper is divided into five subtopics: posing of the question, theoretical basis, practical implication, types of region, standards of evaluating. It also gives a summary review of the development of economic geography and the tendency of the modern economic geography with the special emphasis on the theoretical problem that economic geography is facing with during the first socialist period, particularly on the changing traditional ideas.
