摘    要:以硫酸水溶液-锌汞齐(汞电极)体系,实验研究了液-液界面上化学反应形成气体产物时气泡的生长规律。发现,界面上气泡生长行为随着反应过程的进行相应发生变化,反应刚开始瞬间,气泡主要在液-液界面上成核,以后主要在液-液-固三相交界处成核,气泡的整个生长过程经历了成核、长大、滑移、聚并以及脱离界面逸出等步骤。气泡脱离界面前,其生长半径与反应时间的三分之一次方呈线性关系。

Abstract:The growth of gas bubbles on liquid-liquid interface is studied experimen-tally when gas forms through chemical reaction in sulphuric acid solution-zinc amalgam (or mercury electrode) system. It is found that the growth be-haviour of gas bubbles varies with the proceeding of the reaction. At the momentthe chemical reaction begins, numerous small bubbles form homogeneously allover the interface. Then gas bubbles nucleate where the interface meets with thecontainer. In addition, other interesting features of gas bubbles, including theirgrowth, slip, coalescence and escape from the interface, are also observed. Resear-ches indicate that the growth radius of gas bubbles is proportional to the cubicroot of the time of reaction before they escape from the interface.
