| Abstract: | The fifth-order compact CWENO reconstruction scheme and semi-discrete central-upwind scheme for thehyperbolic conservation laws were combined to produce a fifth-order compact CWENO central-upwind scheme to solvethe one-dimensional ideal MHD equations. Numerical experiments illustrated that the fifth-order compact CWENO cen-tral-upwind scheme has the properties of high resolution and stability for one-dimensional idea MHD equations. |
