| Abstract: | The Thy-1 antigens from both thymocytes and brain of rats are major membrane glycoproteins of about 25,000 molecular weight of which 30% is carbohydrate. The brain and thymus glycoproteins contain very similar amounts of each amino acid, but have strikingly different carbohydrate compositions. The antigenic determinants are likely to be in the protein part of the molecule. |
