| 摘 要： | 图的独立集个数在化学上称为Merrifield-Simmons指数, 它是化学图论中应用比较广泛的拓扑指数之一.利用图的变换得到了n阶单圈图的Merrifield-Simmons指数的最大值, 并刻画了具有最大Merrifield-Simmons指数的单圈图的特征.

| Abstract: | The number of independent sets of a graph was called the Merrifield-Simmons index of the graph in chemistry, and it was one of the most popular topological indices in chemical graph theory.The largest Merrifield-Simmons indices of unicyclic graphs of order n was obtained and the unicyclic graph of order n was characterized with the largest Merrifield--Simmons index.The proof of the main result in 1 was simplified here. |
