| Abstract: | The mitochondrial import receptors MOM19 and MOM72 form a complex with two other proteins of the mitochondrial outer membrane, MOM38 and MOM22. This receptor complex is involved in recognition, membrane insertion and translocation of precursor proteins with MOM38 constituting (at least part of) the general insertion site GIP. |
