| Abstract: | In this paper,we present a general method for constructing identities involving kth-order F-L numbers for arbitrary k and arbitrary F-L sequence. The method is based on the property of the characteristic polynomial. First, we prove a key theorem -Theorem of Constructing Identity (simply, TCI). Next,by using TCI,we construct a series of identities involving expressions of kth-order F-L numbers wm n,wm_n,w_n, wmn r,wi r, ti ,wmi r ti, etc. ,some of which are important formulas and have generalied some recent results in the F-L sequence field . |
